The iPhone 4 Antenna Woes: It’s A Faulty Algorithm!

Apple’s new iPhone 4 honeymoon has been cut short temporarily due to the ‘Death Grip’ problem reported in the new device. The iPhone 4 shows a dramatic decrease in the signal strength when you hold the device in your hands while touching the external antenna. Apple was quick to acknowledge the problem and yesterday, the company clarified that the loss of signal strength is due to bug in the software algorithm and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the iPhone 4 antenna hardware.
